So, there’s only one to go back home to the village she grew up in and to try to start again.   Her best friend Jemma is delighted Lizzie has come back home as she has just bought a little cafe and Lizzie’s sewing skills are just what she needs to help get it ready for the grand opening. With a new venture and a new home, things are looking much brighter for Lizzie. But can she get over her broken heart, and will an old flame reignite a love from long ago…?

Review: Lizzie Dixon has a wonderful boyfriend. He is perfect. She knows he’s going to propose on her birthday. She’s sure of it. Unfortunately her hopes are dashed when he decides to leave her. On top of all that, she’s also fired from her job. So she decides to go home. What she didn’t expect was to run into her childhood sweetheart. She is there to help her best friend, who has decided to open a café and can help her make sure everything is perfect.

This was a light novel. I had a good time with Lizzie. She’s trying to make a fresh start, create a new life for herself and above all understand what her first love is doing in town at the same time as her. However, Ben doesn’t seem to want to tell her what happened to him, which intrigues her even more.

It was a nice little story to discover.
