Synopsis: How do you date your best friend’s sister? Easy.

Step one: Pretend you want her to set you up with someone else. That will bring the two of you closer.

Step two: Go on date with lots of random women, proceed to get stupid drunk and talk about your best friend’s sister, thus gaining the courage to finally make a move.

Step three: Randomly show up at her apartment and confess your love. Women love that, right?

It all seemed so simple. A fool-proof three step process that will guarantee the love of you life to fall madly in love with you.

At least–that’s what I thought was going to happen. But my attempts to win over Julia Westin backfired in more ways than I can count. The thing about Julia? She’s smart–really smart–and her wicked gaze cuts through all the charm I’ve tried slinging her way. She’s not interested in games, my gifts, or my stories. She might want me too; but she’s not giving in that easy…

Review: I heard a lot about Meghan Quinn, and strangely enough I was convinced that she was translated into French. However, as I was searching, I realized that she is not! I had already read one of her novels written with four hands before and I was curious to discover something only written by her and I admit that I am conquered by this novel! I had a really great time!

Bram has always loved Julia, but everything has always been a little complicated between them. First of all? She’s his best friend’s sister. And not just his best friend, the guy he loves the most! Even more complicated? She doesn’t see him that way at all! So Bram decides to do everything possible to make her succumb to his charm, but it’s far, if not very far from being won!

Like I said, I really had a great time. I thought it was nice for once to have a billionaire hero, but if he talks about sex all the time, thinks all the time of sex, he is also sensitive, protects those he loves, is there for others. Yes, because there are often a lot of assholes heroes and I like it when that’s not the case. It’s always easier to get attached to the characters. What about the heroine? Well, if I wanted to hit her several times, I really appreciated her exchanges with Bram.

To conclude I am conquered and I am curious to read more!

I LOL’ed when I read that you wanted to hit the heroine! She doesn’t sound very worthy of Bram at all, but all the same, I’m really glad you enjoyed this book so much!

    1. Melliane

she is just always saying that he is much more than her, that he doesn’t really want her and all while he does everything so yes I wanted to hit her because she hurt him too
