Three Blind Dates by Meghan Quinn

Dating by Numbers, Book 1

Synopsis: “Good Morning Malibu, it’s another beautiful day on the west coast! I’m Noely Clark, your host: and I’m in the market for love…”

When the publicity team of the new local restaurant, Going in Blind, began their search for a hot, local celebrity to promote the wildly popular eatery, they couldn’t have found a better person than me.

I signed up immediately.

A hopeless romantic with an exceedingly demanding schedule, I’ve found it impossible to find the man of my dreams — so Going in Blind seems too good to be true! That’s until they start setting me up on dates — three very different, very attractive, very distinct blind dates — and only one thing is for certain…

I’m in big trouble.

Good Morning Malibu,
I’m Noely Clark, and I have a choice to make.
The question is who will I choose; the suit, the rebel, or the jock.

Review: I read a novel by Meghan Quinn that I really liked, so when I saw the translation of this one, I must say that I was intrigued. Plus… I love romantic comedies, so how could I resist it?

Noely Clark is a young TV presenter who hopes to finally find love, so when she is contacted to participate in a blind dating program, she thinks that maybe that’s what she was missing to achieve her goal. If normally the first man she meets is supposed to be the perfect man for her, and if she has high hopes, everything gets spoiled when she reveals his name on TV. In all, she will discover three men, each one more charming than the other, and yet they may not be ready to have a relationship.

Even though I thought the novel was very long, I had a good time with the story. It was nice to discover Noely even though I was surprised that she was so quickly “in love” with each of her suitors. Apart from that, it was nice to follow her in her adventures and I was really curious to see how her story was going to end because each of her suitors are very attractive!

  1. I’m not surprised she was in love right away. She seems to be in love with the idea of love (just from what I read of the summary and your review). This sounds like a lotta fun and I think I would like the main character!

  2. I read this one awhile back. Now I can’t even remember who she ends up with. I guess it wasn’t very memorable for me although I probably gave it 4 stars. My memory though is admittedly horrible!
