Review: I love Janet Evanovich’s novels and when I saw that she was releasing a new series, I didn’t wait long to pick it up. And how could I resist a novel that mixes Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones, all with great humor?

Gabriela Rose has an extraordinary job: she recovers the objects that her clients want and for that she can travel the world and find herself in extraordinary adventures! But the latest one is a little different: her family is about to lose their house. Luckily, her aunt’s ghost has given them a solution: find a lost treasure that could save them all! However, her ex-husband has the notebook that could lead them to the treasure, an ex-husband who is as sexy as he is insufferable. Forced to join forces with him, they will travel the world to try to find the treasure. Problem: they are not the only ones and this group is very dangerous!

This was a very cool novel and I had a great time with the story and the characters. I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. Rafer and Gabriela are great and I was looking forward to seeing them together.

I recommend it and can’t wait for volume 2!
