Review: I didn’t know this series at all, but when a friend gave me a lot of praise, I was curious to find out what it was like. He lent me the first volume and I gladly threw myself into the story.
Corwin wakes up in a hospital with amnesia. He has no idea what happened, let alone what is going on. Gradually he goes through the clues and meets people who claim to be his siblings, characters who talk about things he doesn’t understand. But Corwyn isn’t just anyone, he’s one of the nine brothers vying for the throne of Amber and he’s determined to see it through to the end, at any cost.
It was a very nice fantasy novel and I had a very good time. Besides, I’m very curious to find out what would happen next and see how our hero would manage everything. I’m also looking forward to meeting his family and learning more about them.
A very nice first volume!
