Federal Bureau of Magic, Book 5
Synopsis: Welcome to Chipping Cheddar, where supernaturals are hidden in plain sight
There’s been a discovery of demons.
Again.
The appearance of a strange plant on the Taskers’ farm sends Neville and I straight to the Federal Bureau of Magic database, where we discover that deadly demons are snatching bodies all over town. Meanwhile, with the Day of Darkness looming on the calendar, family tensions abound and I’m reminded once again that I’m the white sheep of this black magic family.
Can I put a stop to the Stepford invasion before it’s too late or will the demons take up residence in their hosts–permanently?
Review: This is a new volume of Annabel Chase, and I couldn’t wait to dive into the story!
Eden has a new case in her hands: it seems that a strange plant is growing in the Taskers’ garden, but that’s not all. It seems that demons are taking possession of the bodies of the city’s inhabitants. It will be far from being easy, because if other people learn about that, the city could well be razed. Doing everything possible with Neville to find out how to solve this problem, our heroine will once again find herself in danger.
And then, did I mention our very dear Sheriff? I was so unhappy with the way the story turned out about the relationship with Eden, but I have to say that I really liked the author’s ideas in this one and I am now very curious to find out what will happen next. By the way, I’ve already ordered the next novel!
So as I was saying, it’s once again a very good sequel to a series that I recommend!
