Review: I was curious to start this series for some time and I finally got into The Missing Ink. It’s been a long time since I had read a cozy mystery novel but it’s always a pleasure to go back to the genre.
I really appreciated the fact that the universe is happening in the tattooing world. This is not often the case and I found it very interesting. Brett Kavanaugh has her own tattoo shop in Las Vegas and everything goes smoothly until a young woman comes in to ask for a tattoo and disappears even before the job is done. On the front of the media scene, Brett will try to understand what could have happened to the young woman. And even her police brother will not prevent her from discovering the truth!
I really had a great time with this novel. I went into the investigation without suspecting how it would end. I found that the author had managed to train us and make us doubt about all the characters and I can tell you that we can not expect the events! Brett’s actions are carefully monitored and we wonder who the culprit is. Yes, Brett is a great heroine but we will discover many other secondary characters that make us have a great time too!
I have already ordered the sequel to read what the author has in store for us!
I’ve been picking up more and more cozy mysteries, too. A tattoo shop owner tracking down clues does sound fun. Glad you liked it, Melliane!
right? I liked the idea
This looks like fun and I hope you enjoy the sequel just as much!
me too!
Sounds fun. Glad you enjoyed!

That sounds great, glad to hear you liked it so much.
I’m happy it is a nice start to a new series. Thanks for the review.
I have a weakness for stories set in Las Vegas, and it’s related to tattoos to boot! Love the sound of this!
This looks like a lot of fun and I absolutely love that cover!
