Fused in Fire by K.F. Breene

Fire and Ice Trilogy, Book 3

Synopsis: The gripping conclusion of the bestselling Fire and Ice Trilogy!

I’d thought the threat from Seattle was finished. That we showed up in time and took care of business.

I hate being wrong. It really ruins my day.

When Roger, the alpha of the North American pack, shows up at my door with the news that a demon has made it to the Underworld with knowledge of me, some hard decisions have to be made.

Do I stay above ground, with all my magical friends, and wait for the battle to come to me? Or do I seek the demon out, and pluck the threat out by the root?

I don’t want my friends to die on my behalf. I could never life with myself. But if I venture into the Underworld, it’ll be the most perilous journey of my life.

This time, it isn’t just my life hanging in the balance, it is my eternity.

Review: I had a good time with the first two volumes and was curious to discover the third. The series is broken down into several trilogies, the next three volumes follow another character, but the next ones come back to Reagan. I wasn’t sure if it would feel like a conclusion of some sort, and in the end, we realize that not all the questions have an answer. I hope we get to find out more about these books in French.

In this new volume, Reagan and Darius are determined to go to Hell to deal with the demons that know of her existence. Our heroes want to prevent them from revealing Reagan’s existence to her father, Lucifer. That’s what she’s always fought against, and she’s determined that he won’t find out about her. But this world is different from anything she has ever known.

This was a really nice novel. I don’t know if I’d be as interested in another character, but I’m pretty excited to see what happens to Reagan in the sequel.

A good read.
