Follow Friday is a blog hop Hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read

Q: Jumping Genres: Ever pick up a book from a genre you usually don’t like and LOVE it? Tell us about it and why you picked it up in the first place.

There is a book I read because I loved the movie: Freedom Writers. I don’t usually read novels like that, but I was so curious and impatient to know more about it. So the book is The Freedom Writers Diary: How a Teacher and 150 Teens Used Writing to Change Themselves and the World Around Them (yeah long title). It was a really beautiful read, also really sad, but I loved it!

Hopping through. I loved Freedom Writer’s Diary too. The movie was enjoyable but of course not as good.

That was a spectacular movie but I haven’t read the book. There are other books that I’ve read because of the movie like The Hunt for Red October and Jurassic Park.

Hm..dunno really. I guess I never thought I’d like Jane Eyre as much as I did as those old books are just that old and stuffy
