Q: Do your reading habits change based on your mood? Do you read a certain genre if you are feeling depressed or happy?

Good question, I don’t know if it’s about the mood but there are times when I want to read YA or Chick-lit books when I’m a little tired of the genre of novels I read (yes, it happens). I think it depends on the period and the books I want to read.

Yeah I just tend to read whatever book I grab off the TBR mountain! They are all books I chose for myself, so I want to read them anyway!

I agree with you, I prefer reading lighter reads like Chick Lit when I’m tired/stressed. I also like to pick up Harry Potter as a comfort read or just a book which I can re-read again and again. Great answer! 🙂
PS. Love your blog design by the way, your header is beautiful! 🙂

I know what you mean, sometimes a ChickLit is just what the doctor ordered! They generally requir less concentration, too. Great answser, Melliane!
