The Beginner’s Guide to Necromancy, Book 3
Synopsis: Grier finally has the one thing she’s always wanted: Boaz Pritchard. Too bad her dream boyfriend is keeping her up nights, just not in a sweaty or fun way. Boaz has dialed down the Southern charm and stopped returning her calls. His job forces him to keep secrets, but his radio silence is cranking up her suspicions. He’s a shameless flirt, but he’s her shameless flirt… right?
Soon an attack on Woolworth House leaves her with bigger problems than he loves me, he loves me not. Vampires are on the prowl, and they aren’t the only predators circling. A new threat has emerged, one with blood rights to Grier. With enemies closing in on all sides, she must choose her allies, and the decision could make or break her… and her heart.
Warning: This book contains a buttload of zombie parakeet poop. Like grab a poncho and thank me later. Watch out, y’all. It’s about to hit the fan. Hearts will break, and heads will roll. Literally.
Review: I was really looking forward to immersing myself in this novel. I loved the first two volumes and this third one is up to them! I was once again completely carried away by this third opus and I must say that I have already ordered the sequel because I am really looking forward to reading more!
So we find ourselves just after the end of the previous novel and Grier, in addition to having to try to find out where she stands with Boaz, must continue her lessons. But here you see, you suspect that new problems will arise, between an attack on Wolly, a visit with Linus to Atlanta, which could be really much more dangerous than expected, vampire attacks, or Amelie and her brother’s secrets, Grier will get sick of it! But how can we resist it?
I loved this new volume, yes really a lot! I had a lot of trouble letting go and I finished it all in one go! I must say that there is a lot going on in Grier’s life and I was really happy to learn more about Linus on this short trip. We discover his life at home, the other faces he wears all the time and of course we also discover other characters. And what about this end? I must admit that if I expected it a little, I was still very surprised and I am very curious to see what will happen now.
As I said, it was once again a great novel, and I look forward to seeing with all these revelations what happens next!

I love when books are too good to put down! Although, I usually feel mentally spent after reading them in one sitting. Like, a brain high!
