Lucky Harbor, Book 6.5

Synopsis: JUST ONE MORE KISS

There’s no place like home for the holidays. And the Lucky Harbor Bed & Breakfast is bursting with festive lights and good cheer. But for Mia, Christmas is turning out to be anything other than merry and bright. Her recent break-up with her boyfriend Nick has made her return bittersweet. But then a surprise arrives, when Nick follows her to town bearing gifts-and asking for forgiveness.

Nick grew up without a family of his own so he’s overwhelmed by the love that Mia receives from all her relatives, gathered together to celebrate the season. Under their watchful eyes, Nick finds earning back her trust the hardest thing he’s ever had to do. If he succeeds, he will receive the greatest gift of all, Mia’s love for a lifetime.

Review: I did read with pleasure the first 4 volumes of the series with which I had a very good time. I got this novella when it was free on amazon and I thought it was the right time to get into it.

It’s a short story that takes place between volume 6 and 7, but it’s not a problem because it features characters we know about and that we learned to discover in the first novels, especially Maddie, Tara and Chloé. And that’s how we follow Mia, this young girl that we also discovered during the stories, and I must say that it was a very good surprise.

Mia and Nick have been dating for 6 months and Mia would like things to go a bit further, so she offers to come with her for Chloe’s wedding in Lucky Harbor. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned.

It was a short story but it was very nice to read and I enjoyed getting back to the characters and discovering Nick!

I do love the series that have a large group of family and friends. One of these days, I’ll read these. Glad this shorter story that came between was a good one for you.

Looks cute! I find it hard to read Christmas stuff when it’s not the holidays though, because the mood is just not the same, but glad you enjoyed 🙂
