Reasonable Doubt: Full Series by Whitney G.

Synopsis: The complete New York Times Bestselling serial, now available in one book!

My cock has an appetite.

A huge and very particular appetite: Blonde, curvy, and preferably not a fucking liar…(Although, that’s a story for another day.) As a high profile lawyer, I don’t have time to waste on relationships, so I fulfill my needs by anonymously chatting and sleeping with women I meet online.

My rules are simple: One dinner. One night. No repeats.

This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less.

At least it was, until “Alyssa”…She was supposed to be a 27 year old lawyer, a book hoarder, and completely unattractive. She was supposed to be someone I shared law advice with late at night, someone I could trust with details of my weekly escapades.

But then she came into my firm for an interview–a college-intern interview, and everything fucking changed…

Review: This novel brings together three short stories by the author, but in the end it forms a single novel. Moreover, each part follows the other perfectly. I had never read any Whitney G. novels before, but a friend of mine told me a lot of good things about her, so I was curious to try this novel, even though I wasn’t sure what to expect.

There is a warning at the beginning of the novel that highlights the behavior of the male character and as I read it I wondered what it would be like.

Alyssa, aka Aubrey, and Bull, aka Andrew, are chatting on a website. They have never met each other. They don’t know who they are in real life, and Alyssa has invented a life for herself. At least it is until the day the truth comes out. A truth that will change them both.

I thought the author wrote really well and her story is very catchy, but I have to say that I found it a bit hard to put up with the character of the hero. He doesn’t care about anything and even less about the harm he does to the others. Aubrey is a touching character who has a passion for ballet and I thought it was nice that she is trying to achieve her dream, even if her parents disapprove. The relationship between Andrew and Aubrey is quite toxic and if we gradually understand the reasons for our man’s nature, it’s hard to accept it.

It was an interesting novel and I hope to read more from the author in the future.
