Kat Redding est de la même espèce que ceux qu’elle chasse : un vampire, assoiffé de sang, capable de tuer toutes créatures ayant assez peu de chance pour se retrouver sur son chemin. La différence est que Kat tue ceux de sa propre espèce afin de protéger les humains de sang pur. Elle est douée dans ce qu’elle fait. Assez douée pour mériter le surnom de Dame de la Mort – et la haine des assoiffés de sang en ville. Mais maintenant un vampire, Le Compte, tente de faire émerger sa Maison avec un culte aux loups garous afin d’avoir un pouvoir immense.
Kat ne peut pas laisser faire ça. Même si cela veut dire se rendre dans un repaire garous et du vampire le plus impitoyable qu’elle ait rencontré. Elle a ses armes, les aptitudes, et quelques alliés. Mais cela pourrait ne pas être suffisant pour éliminer Le Comte avant que sa propre nature ne fasse surface – et lui coute le peu qui lui reste de son humanité…

Les étoiles de Nosse Head, Tome 2 : Rivalités – Sophie JomainPour moi, une nouvelle vie commençait : l’université à St Andrews avec Leith, mon petit ami loup-garou. J’avais espéré que le calme était revenu, que je vivrais ma première année de fac comme n’importe quelle jeune fille, ou presque. Douce utopie, rien ne se passe jamais comme on le voudrait. Il fallait qu’ils se fassent la guerre, c’était plus fort qu’eux. Leur haine ancestrale allait les pousser à bout. J’étais dépassée. Je n’en avais aucune idée alors, mais les forces qui devraient s’affronter allaient au-delà de tout ce qu’on peut imaginer. J’étais au moins sûre d’une chose : tôt ou tard, je paierais les pots cassés. Peut-être même que je ne m’en sortirais pas indemne.
