Experiment in Terror, Book 1
Synopsis: There’s always been something a bit off about Perry Palomino. Though she’s been dealing with a quarter-life crisis and post-college syndrome like any other twenty-something, she’s still not what you would call “ordinary.” For one thing, there’s her past which she likes to pretend never happened, and then there’s the fact that she sees ghosts.
Luckily for her, that all comes in handy when she stumbles across Dex Foray, an eccentric producer for an upcoming webcast on ghost hunters. Even though the show’s budget is non-existent and Dex himself is a maddening enigma, Perry is instantly drawn into a world that both threatens her life and seduces her with a sense of importance.
Her uncle’s haunted lighthouse provides the perfect catalyst and backdrop for a horrific mystery that unravels the threads of Perry’s fragile sanity and causes her to fall for a man, who, like the most dangerous of ghosts, may not be all that he seems.
Review: This is a novel that my friend Gilwen gave me and I was curious to find out how it was. How can I resist a ghost story? All mixed up with a rather thriller atmosphere and I must say that I found it quite nice!
We discover Perry, a young woman who has been through a lot over the years. She’s not really fulfilled in life and she wants more! So, when at a party, she falls into the abandoned lighthouse on Dex, a ghost hunter and that he offers her a place in his show, Perry is finally happy. However, she doesn’t know Dex and he could well hide a lot of secrets from her!
I had a good time with this novel. It is a rather dark story and, nevertheless, well mastered too. There are still a lot of questions outstanding in the story and I admit that I am curious to see what the author will have for us in the future! Perry and Dex are two mysterious and intriguing characters and I’m sure they have plenty good things in store for us for the future!
Thank’s for sharing your thoughts.

Oh this sounds awesome! Did you find this one creepy? For me, when it comes ghost stories, the scarier the better 🙂
A bit yes, but not that much
I’m always up for a darker story. This sounds great, thanks for introducing me to it!
I’ve read this author but it was a different genre – contemporary romance. I’m glad you liked it.
