Federal Bureau of Magic Cozy Mystery, Book 2

Synopsis: Welcome to Chipping Cheddar, where supernaturals are hidden in plain sight

Be careful what you wish for…

I’ve only been back home a few weeks and already strange events are happening all over town. Wishes are coming true to the delight of those affected. Despite the seemingly good fortune, I need to put on my Federal Bureau of Magic badge and get to work. I can’t let supernatural shenanigans disrupt the natural order of life here, no matter how awesome they seem.

When their good luck starts to take a dark turn, I have to kick my efforts into overdrive. Can I crack the case before these dreams-come-true turn into nightmares?

Review: I had a really good time with the first volume and I was looking forward to plunging into the second story and finding all the characters again.

Eden thought she could continue in her routine, but she realizes that strange things are happening in town. Indeed, it seems that the wishes of some people are granted without anyone knowing exactly how. But our heroine is determined to find out what’s going on, even though these wishes are really providential for some people. But these wishes can also turn into a nightmare!

I had a great time again with this second volume. It is a real pleasure to find again all Eden’s family, a family which is as exasperating as funny. And then, there is Sheriff Fox, sexy as ever, and even if Eden knows pertinently that their relation is impossible, it is very difficult to resist to her !

As I said, it was again a great novel and I can’t wait to read more !

I’m happy you enjoyed this book as much as the first! I’m always hesitant when starting a second book in a series… I feel like they’ll never live up to my expectations, haha. 😉
